  1.    This option allows you to add a record to an existing file. The sex and
  2. tutor group should be entered then the name surname first. The computer will
  3. force you to use upper case but prints will be translated to lower case for
  4. you. The computer will assign a candidate number to the candidate as follows.
  5. If there is a number missing from the main sequence of the group (owing to
  6. deletion of a student who has left) this number will be used and a blank
  7. register record set up. Missed register time will not affect the statistics
  8. and the new student starts with 100% attendance. If the sequence is complete the next number in the sequence up to a maximum of 239 will be assigned.
